Would you be suprised if I told you that a US Army officer, who holds the rank of Major, is leading the United States in the path for peace in the 6 year international war being waged in Syria?
This officer is Congresswoman, Tulsi Gabbard, (D – Hawaii, 2nd District). Gabbard has long held to human and civil rights for people domestically for years. She has taken the initiative, where no one else has dared to go: the front lines of one of the top humanitarian crises in the 21st Century, Syria.
For more than 6 years, the United States, through the department of the CIA and US miltary, not only have invaded unlawfully the nation of Syria, it has been attacking it, waging an international war, resulting in the deaths of tens of thousands of people and displacing millions more. Gabbard confirms what alternative to the mainstream voices and media have been saying for years: the US funds and arms, directly and indirectly terrorists, otherwise known as Islamic jihadists to overthrow President Bashar al-Assad.
These terrorists are the ones the US CIA and miltary are supporting, those that cry out praises to their Islamic God, while firing US supplied weaponry, cutting the heads off of people including children, killing and enslaving Christians, Muslims, homosexuals and more, while waving the jihadist black flag that al Qaeda does.
Often times, by Western media and politicians, advocacy for these terrorists are called ‘moderates,’ or ‘moderate rebels,’ which Gabbard clarifies: they don’t exist.
This foolish and illegal support, of religious groups, particularly, insane religious cults, is forbidden by the 1st Amendment of the Constitution, that is, to be ‘established’ by the US government, as the CIA and top miltary Brass have been doing unchallenged for many years, now sees their first serious effort to be confronted.
However, this effort is not being led by the upholding of the 1st Amendment but by the introduction of new legislation, the Stop Arming Terrorists Act.
Representative Gabbard, insists that it will bring an end to the US support of the following Islamic groups:
The legislation would prohibit the U.S. government from using American taxpayer dollars to provide funding, weapons, training, and intelligence support to groups like the Levant Front, Fursan al Ha and other allies of Jabhat Fateh al-Sham, al-Qaeda and ISIS, or to countries who are providing direct or indirect support to those same groups.
She goes on to cite the following politicians are co-sponsoring the bill:
The legislation is cosponsored by Reps. Peter Welch (D-VT-AL), Barbara Lee (D-CA-13), Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA-48), and Thomas Massie (R-KY-04), and supported by the Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) and the U.S. Peace Council.
Gabbard has been criticised widely by some politicians and the wider US corporate media for visiting Syria and with President Assad.
It is astonishing that Christians in the United States have been widely ignoring this humanitarian crisis, which has brought about so much suffering and death of Christians. Most Christians love the United States but it has been a clear instrument of death and chaos for not only Christians but millions of other people too.
Jews, who widely advance the cause of Israel due to Christians’ love for Jews and Israel have been largely silent too. Most of American media is owned and run by about 500 Jewish men.
Gabbard is a Hindu from Hawaii and took her oath in office by swearing upon the Hindu book, Bhagavad Gita. Her conscience and courage shines out more than most other US miltary officers, politicians, and Christians in the US. The Bhagavad Gita is a book on how rulers should live.
A press conference for this bill can be seen here. Notice how small of a press corp turn out is there.
You can also see Rep. Gabbard being interviewed and confronted on the following interviews.
The Young Turks interviewer, Emma Vigeland, prefaces the interview with Gabbard by suggesting the US has only ‘indirectly’ supported these terrorists. Yet, Gabbard clarifies again that we have been indirectly and directly supporting these groups.
Nevertheless, once again, the evidence points to the reality that the US is no longer what most citizens believe it is: a nation of truth, justice and the rule of law.
